Op 26 april 2014 gaf de Koninklijke Harmoniekapel Delft ter gelegenheid van Koningsdag een Openluchtconcert op het volgepakt Doelenplein in Delft. Alles was sfeervol in het oranje en over het weer viel zeker niet te klagen; tijdens de twee rustpunten in het programma brak de zon zelfs goed door en gaf het geheel nog meer warmte en glans.
Voor de KHD was dit het laatste optreden in het thuisland voordat het eind juli richting Normandië gaat om aldaar t.g.v. 70 jaar D-Day drie prachtige concerten te verzorgen in de buurt van Omaha Beach en Sainte Mère Eglise.
Achtereenvolgens werden op het Doelenplein ten gehore gebracht:
